JA-DEA provides independent Domestic Energy Assessments in the Thanet and Canterbury Area.

To produce a certificate the assessor needs to visit the property and collect information on the property, which includes details of its dimensions, construction and heating/hot water provision.

The time taken to perform an energy assessment will vary according to the size and nature of the property.

Information from the assessment is inputted into the approved software programme which produces the EPC and recommendation report. The certificate information is then recorded onto a national register and the seller or landlord is provided with a copy.
